In partnership with Veridaas, USA, 61Aero is bringing the Geiger Mode LiDAR system to Australia in early 2024.
This is a unique system, world leading technology with unmatched data capture capability. Well suited to wide-area surveys such as forest inventory, carbon/biomass, infrastructure and terrain mapping at massive scale. Hundreds of thousands of square kilometres (that’s right, whole states) can be captured with this system.
High density, high accuracy LiDAR from a vehicle, drone or manned aircraft, the Brumby LiDAR, produced by sister company Klau Geomatics, is core to our data capture operations. The Brumby offers the fastest data turnaround of any airborne or MLS LiDAR system.
Perfect for powerline scanning, biomass surveys, rapid terrain mapping, and volume surveys for mining.
The Brumby provides high accuracy control for larger surveys, positioning of other sensors and altimetry through the Klau Geomatics FMS.
The level of detail and agility of drone mapping at the scale of traditional manned aerial surveys, 61Aero achieves efficiency of capture, fast data turnaround and better economy.
RGB and NIR large format sensors with accurate positioning and orientation powered by the Brumby Controller.
Data processed with extremely fast turnaround, massive compute power and multiple commercial software licences.
Professional survey management with validated quality control.
The 61Aero team have a solid background in geophysics, both ground and airborne. Through our data capture partners, 61Aero can acquire gravity, gravity gradiometry, magnetics, electro-magnetics, ground penetrating radar and other remote sensed earth data.
61Aero can advise on the value of specific geophysics techniques for your project, to derive more intel and better outcomes.
Ultimately the value of a 61Aero project is in the data interpretation through the processing of multiple data types.
Geophysical data captured at high accuracy and processed over a highly accurate terrain increases the fidelity of the data that can be created. Highly detailed terrain describes geomorphology which in turn helps indicate sub surface conditions, whether shallow geotechnical or deeper exploration.
To build large structures such as wind and solar farms, dig trenches for communications networks, or run high voltage power infrastructure, shallow sub-surface information is critical to help plan your project, predict challenges, and de-risk the investment. A wider approach to aggregated data will help find critical minerals, measure biomass for carbon sequestration, and build better intelligence about our earth.
Professional survey management, validated quality control, and unprecedented outcomes.
61Aero partners with professional UAV operators to undertake the small jobs, under 10 square kilometres, and detailed inspection surveys.
Whether carrying a Brumby LiDAR or other imaging payloads, our partners have the experience and capability to carry large payloads for extended flight times, including BVLOS.
